Jonah and the shade

Jonah seated in the shade of a plant, with a shelter and Nineveh in the distance. — Artistic interpretation created using artificial intelligence tools.

A plant sheltered Jonah, then a worm made it wither. God recalled his sorrow for that plant and questioned him about compassion for Nineveh, with its inhabitants and animals.
