Sharing a story

You may share links to Holy’s pages. The link allows recipients to read the story in context, with its sources and information about the work.

Reusing images, audio and video

Browsing the site does not grant a general licence to republish, modify, sell or include files in other projects. Uses subject to rights held by Holy or its collaborators require specific permission, except where an express licence or the law allows them.

The rights of their respective holders, statutory exceptions and the public domain remain unaffected. Holy does not claim exclusive rights to traditional stories, ancient public-domain texts or material belonging to others.

To propose a reuse, visit Collaborations. The submission channel will be available once opened.

Authors, tools and sources

Stories presented as adaptations are distinct from quotations of sacred texts. Images may be made using artificial intelligence tools. Publication on Holy, a signature or a copyright symbol do not by themselves guarantee exclusive copyright in every generated element.

Protection for works made with AI assistance depends on legal requirements, including human creative contribution. The terms of the services used and any third-party rights must be checked for each item.

We do not apply a blanket Creative Commons licence to the collection. Any permissions will be specified for individual items.

Collaboration and independence

Sponsorships will be disclosed and separated from editorial content. No agreement can buy greater prominence for a religion, alter a story or impose favourable coverage.
